Your Work Matters to God
Do you sometimes feel like doing "kingdom work" means you would need to quit your day job and devote your life to full-time ministry? Join us as we explore the sacredness of our secular work (and it's not just about witnessing to your coworkers!). This study, led by John Lee, will delve into challenging questions like: Why should I work? How much should I work? How does sin affect my work? How should I respond to evil in my workplace?
Date: Wednesday, May 20th, total of 6 classes
Time: 7:00- 8:30pm
Location: Downtown/Uptown area

Class Outline
Popcorn, Movies, and Culture Making
Join Cedric Armstrong as he takes us on a journey of pursuing our call to engage with and cultivate culture through a series of movie nights. We will watch movies like The Big Kahuna and The Lives of Others followed by a titillating discussion of the movie and chapters from Andy Crouch’s award-winning book Culture Making: Recovering our Creative Calling. It promises to be a rousing evening full of fun and out-of-the-box thinking.
Date: May 30th, classes will be last Saturday every month. Nine movie nights altogether.
Time: 6:00 – 9:00pm
Location: Mira Mesa area

Assess Yourself
Your work becomes more meaningful and satisfying as you work in ways that take into account how God wired you. Join us as we explore the unique combination of your top five strengths. This practical study will help you learn how to do more of what you love and less of what drains you in the workplace. It will help you live a life that takes into account your unique design.
Date: May 31-July 12.

Cost: $20 - scholarships available
